Happy Mothers Day

Hi everyone,
Apologies for the late blog about Mothers Day. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the card that I had made for my Mum and had to wait for her to open it and send me a picture!
It was made using the Botanical Builder Framelit dies. Turquoise is Mums favourite colour so that was the predominant colour. I think the flowers look fabulous with the silver contrast, what do you think?
Apologies for the quality of the photos.
That's all for now. I will have some news about a new & improved blog so watch this space!

A smorgasbord of my work.

Hi everyone,
I'm registered for Telford for the UK OnStage event in April, woohoo. It will be great to meet more demonstrators and see what new products will be coming soon.
Today I'm sharing with you a mix of cards and 3D items, all using Stampin' Up! Products, created by me.
These were made using the Garden in Bloom in Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzaz as background and the sentiment is from Cottage Greetings. The second card uses the same stamp set, this time in Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron onto a turquoise card base with the pool party glitter ribbon from the Spring/Summer 2016 catalogue, I just love it. The circle and sentiment are from  the You're So Lovely stamp, also in the SS 2016 catalogue. Despite the backgrounds being the same stamp don't they look so different? Which one do you like better?
This was for a male18th Birthday, and went down very well I'm pleased to say.
My 3D items are the birthday card for one of my granddaughters which she absolutely loved and has
kept. The bag is a 'one sheet' bag, (12x12Designer Series Paper). I gave a family member their birthday present in a similar one, they are so versatile.

Finally, the scrapbook layout I have chosen is a New Year one. I hope you like my work, please feel free to leave a comment below. I would love to know which colours you prefer from the first two cards.

A Crafty Evening

Hi Everyone,
Last night I had three ladies come over for a class, it was great fun and they all said they had a great evening. These are the cards that I made as samples and which they made, as well as the Cottage Greetings kit.

Here is a photo of them busy crafting, and you can't have a craft evening without cake! Thanks for bringing the goodies Michelle.

The details of all the products used are listed below, and there are three new products on Sale a Bration, available from now until 31st March, one item free for every £45 you spend! Enjoy!

A card for a special someone...

Hi everyone,
Well last week I promised that I would show you the special card that I had made for one of my granddaughters birthdays so here it is.

The penguins were by special request and as it was her 11th birthday there are 11 penguins. I'm very pleased to say that she loved it. The Whisper White card was embossed with the Softly a Falling embossing folder so it looks like snow. I thoroughly enjoyed making it although it seemed to take me ages as I hadn't been in my craft room for a few weeks so I was out of practice. I hope you like it.
The details of the products that I used are listed below, and if you would like to purchase anything you can do so through my shop, click on the link. Don't forget, for every £45 you spend you can choose a FREE product from the Sale a Bration catalogue. Happy days....

Botanicals playtime...

Hi everyone,
I finally got my hands on the bundle of 'Botanicals' and couldn't wait to play with it after having seen all the designs my fellow crafters had been producing while we were on holiday. So having unpacked the suitcase as quickly as I could I finally got into my craft room for the first time this year!
I really loved the design below which I have 'cased' from Billie Moan, thank you Billie.
I've also had great fun making my granddaughters birthday card, I can't share that with you until next week though, after I've given it to her.

I hope you like it as much as I do? I'll be back next week with a very special card and more samples from the Spring/Summer 2016 Catalogue. If you would like a copy of the catalogue please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll get one in the post to you. Don't forget that for every £45 you spend between now and the 31st March 2016 you will get a free product from the Sale a Bration catalogue!

Hello from South Carolina

Hi everyone,
My husband and I are in South Carolina and will be setting off for Florida tomorrow. I have to say I am really missing playing with the new products from the 2016 Spring Summer Occasions and Sale a Bration catalogues, I have seen some lovely posts from my fellow Stampin Stars and am looking forward to getting back into my craft room. Having said that we have had mainly blue skies and it is in the 60s today. Atlanta was lovely, the people are so friendly and we did a great tour of the CNN studios but it was freezing and we weren't really dressed for it! The picture below shows us at the CNN Studio.

So as I'm not in my craft room I've been on Pinterest a lot looking at all the new designs people are coming up with, I'd love you to have a look at my boards here:

That's all for now, I'll be in touch next week with some updates from our trip. Fiona xx
